Should be ready sometime around NYD. It will be a tool that you can use for anything and create your own racks for any configuration of multiband splitting you like. Gentle, zero latency and almost linear phase, minimum latency options. Fully linear phase option (higher latency) might come later. I tested the new “almost linear phase” crossover with Ducker and it does work well. 🤓

wow that's wonderful :) full linear phase would be awesome for multi band fx chains :D looking forward to this !

Hi Rob, Happy New Year! Excited to see what's next for you, and also interested to know how the push to plugins will play out with the Max devices? Is this a move away from that, and will the devices be supported/developed into Live 13/14 or is the plugin format the focus?

Max For Live will still be supported into the foreseeable future. Some things make more sense in M4L, some as plugins. Some products may include M4L wrappers to make the most of both, some stuff will be exclusively M4L due to the use of the Live API. The shift may very well help both format outputs improve in quality and usability. I still have M4L updates I want to finish which are a priority for me but I feel like I need to explore this new format and ensure that I can make this whole adventure all as sustainable as possible so I can do this many years into the future. Happy New Year & Music Making! 😁
